| - I have been meaning to write this review for quite some time. I moved into these apartments in Sept 2017. I have had nothing but issues since the day before my move in date. I came to the leasing office multiple times before and after signing my lease just to make sure my move would go smooth. Saw the model apartment and other vacant apartments and loved them and was told my apartment would look the exact same with minor changes such as the cabinet layout, it was perfect exactly what I was looking for and they had a ground floor available for my move in date. I went into the leasing office with my mom and sisters to show them what my apt was going to look like on Sept 4th. My leasing agent was Akeisha (no longer works here). My move in date was Saturday the 9th. On the 4th we were shown an apt that was exactly the same as the others I had been shown before and Akeisha assured us that it would look just like mine but we couldn't look at mine because they were still renovating. I asked if I could do a walk through the day before my move in, so if there were any issues they could be corrected, Akeisha said that would be fine and I could even have any large furniture delivered to the apartment before my move in date. So I got a couch and had it planned to be delivered late Friday afternoon ($100 delivery). On my way to do the walk through and wait for my couch (2:30 pm) I got a call from Akeisha saying my apartment wasn't ready and they needed another day for everything to be completed. Not too big of a deal, as long as I could leave the couch there. I get there and we go take a look inside my apartment. There is no flooring, the floor is concrete with huge cracks and stains. It literally looked like they had just pulled up the flooring scrapped off the glue and left it. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of concrete floors when done correctly, but they looked completely unfinished, they didn't fill the cracks or attempt to stain it. The response I get from Akeisha is "so do you like the flooring" I laughed at first cause I honestly thought they just hadn't laid down the floor yet (gray faux wood vinyl). But unfortunately she was serious. I told her how much I hated it and was in shock because I had just been into the leasing office days before and was never given a notice that the flooring would be completely different. The response I got back from her was that she was so sorry and this was their new updated flooring and she had no idea AND. I couldn't leave my couch there cause it was a construction zone. I should have seen this as the red flag that there's clearly no communication at all between staff. I didn't want this flooring I hated it, response from the manager was that they would let me out of my lease, put me in a different apt (2nd floor), or I could look at the sister apts across the street. I have a dog and did NOT at all want a 2nd floor apt having lived in one for 2 years, and it was the day before my move in how could I just go find another apt at 3 on a Friday so I went to look at the apts across the street. They were nice, smaller, closed off floor plans, and more expensive. They told me that they could only take less than $20 a month off rent (which was almost $150 more) so I obviously declined. I didn't know what to do they literally put me in the worst position. The next morning I felt like I had no other choice but to take the 2nd floor apt that had the flooring I was shown and this was a supposed move in ready apt. I asked about getting the flooring in the apt I wanted, they said no to that. I asked about getting the cracks filled or getting it stained, they said no and no. I was stuck in a 2nd floor apt. There was holes in the walls, outlet plates missing, the countertops in the bathroom were peeling and in the kitchen have white paint speckled all over them. This was their move in ready apt. 1/2
