Bought a house in Chandler last month in which the previous owner had contracted with Unique to design and build swimming pool 4+ years ago. Pool water feature had stone tiles that were flaking and falling apart, with most of the stone disintegrating. Also the flagstone deck had been sealed with super slippery sealant rather than penetrating seal, and it too was failing in many places. Contacted Unique for help in identifying the sealant used so I could remove it in the most effective manner, and for help repairing the faulty stone. Was told they don't do repairs or service outside of their 2-year warranty. Directed me to Home Depot for sealant (they suggested Miracle, but that is not what they had applied previously) and directed me to call a retail tile repair company. Quite surprised and disappointed that Unique made no effort to find out any information about the outcome from their work, and basically just brushed me off to fend for solution on my own. While this review is only based upon that call, and I'm not an original customer, I think their complacency in caring about the failure of their work (in less than 5 years) reflects badly upon the ownership and their commitment to stand behind the products and services they sell.
