  • I literally had to make a list of complaints when I got to my hotel so I didn't forget them. The ONLY reason they get a second star is because they're cheap. That's it. Customer service and car quality are lackluster, to be polite. I waited in line for about 45 minutes. Normally I couldn't fault a company for this. Lines happen. That's what the airport experience is. However, there were only two people working the counter. The guy who helped me was barely intelligible. They also took a refundable $200 deposit. I've never had that at any other car rental place. After my extensive wait, I went down to the pick-up window, and they didn't have the key to the car I was just assigned. Another 15 minute wait while they pulled their heads out of their collective rear end. Next up, I get to do my OWN damage inspection, which is just what you want after you've been on a plane for 7 hours. Now, I don't expect rental cars to be in showroom condition, but this was bad. There were scratches and black marks all over the car, the front fender was cracked, and then when I pulled out to leave, the brakes were grinding all the way out of the garage. The interior was haphazardly cleaned. It still had stains and sticky drink residue on the dash and cup holders. Then, to wrap it up, when we got to the hotel, my friend's rear end was wet because the passenger seat was soaking wet! Drop-off was easy, and the dude who took my car was a nice guy, so uh, kudos for that. Bottom line, if you're willing to wait a long time and take a bit of a gamble on service quality, go for it. If you want a more reliable experience, go elsewhere and pay a bit more.
