  • My one star rating is based off of two things that really turned me off about this place: 1. I walked in to get a pedicure and only a pedicure. The tech bothered me about getting gel nails repeatedly (come on, I know money makes the world go 'round, I get it) and I was actually interested, but I knew I was short on time, so I declined. I very specifically told my tech I had a Drs appt to get to on the west side of Vegas in an hour and a half, which only left me with one hour for services. She immediately perked up that an hour was "plenty of time" for a pedicure and gel nails, which didn't seem right to me, but whatever, she works there. Forty minutes into my services she hadn't started on my gel manicure yet, so I told her to forget it, that I would come back when I had more time. She assured me, "don't worry, plenty of time, you worry too much." So I went with it. I should have stood my ground more firmly, because I left there after an hour and 15 minutes, which made me 15 minutes late for my Drs appt. Thanks for straight up lying to me to make an extra buck. NOT where I want to spend my money. 2. The gel nail color I picked out went on a different color than the chip sample, and again when I brought it to their attention, I was told "it will dry a different color, and will change over time to look more like the sample chip color." Whatever, I didn't have time to start over anyway. I should have taken pictures because I got a yellowed peach result from a chip sample that was a pale pink. I would put any amount of money on the fact that they painted the wrong color on the chip or mixed up the codes to bottles, I shouldn't have believed the second lie, that it would change to the color I actually picked out. My nails looked old and antiqued and dirty, the color looked like an aged person's unkempt nails, great. They asked if it was "okay?" when I was done and I told them it wasn't at all what I wanted, but I didn't have time to fix it because of my appt. No attempt to resolve the issue on their part. It's really too bad, I read a ton of Yelp reviews, which is why I went there. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, maybe I just got a bad tech, but overall, I felt like they didn't value me as a customer and I was actually snickered at when I voiced my concerns about timing and wrong color. Not at all how you treat clients in my book, or I'm guessing yours.
