  • It is IMPOSSIBLE to get ahold of these people by phone for the utilities department. It doesn't matter when you call, they are always too busy, will call you back if you wish and then the call disconnects. I work Sunday through Thursday; surprise surprise they aren't open on Fridays. They close before I am off work, and I have the type of job where I can't sit and wait by the phone to miss their call--ALL DAY. I wish that I had another option; everything is a monopoly in vegas it's a bit ridiculous. They also don't tell you clearly what will happen if you cannot pay your bill until 1-3 days after it's due (you know, when that paycheck actually comes to you so you can pass it through to all the other people who want your money) I'd say steer clear, but... unless you move out of state you kinda run into this everywhere. Don't even get me STARTED on NV Energy.
