  • I was shocked at how much I enjoyed this store, being someone who never particularly liked flowers. A friend was having a difficult time filling a very specific last-minute task: to find 36 uniformly spectacular red roses. Surprisingly difficult at a random neighbourhood florist. After a few unsuccessful tries, one florist recommended Bloor and Kennedy. What a great recommendation! Nicely spaced displays, thoughtful presentation, helpful recommendations from staff. And the flowers! Simply put, wow! Exotic and gorgeous. They're flexible too, for example in substituting more attractive greens for your run-of-the-mill baby's breath. If only I had more occasions for flowers... $35 for a dozen long-stem roses, $30 for medium-stem.
