| - I have been a Botox customer of Pure Med Spa for almost two years now, but I will not be going back. Things have changed dramatically since the last time I visited in April. The waiting room was completely full (all the seats were taken), so I stood until I was called. When I was called back to a room, I waited for 45 mins. The receptionist even came back to the room to make sure I knew they hadn't forgotten about me. (Which was nice.) However, things only got worse from there. Dr. Cook finally came into my room and asked me about where on my face I'd like to get Botox. (So far, so good.) After a brief discussion, he told me he had to leave the room to go "draw up" the botox. (That's when things got weird.) He left my door open and immediately went to the room next to me to talk to another patient. I could hear their entire conversation because both of our doors were open. 10-15 mins later Dr. Cook came back to my room, only to tell me AGAIN that he has to "draw up" the botox. At this point I was getting confused and a little upset, why was he trying to do so much at once? I then saw him enter another room on the opposite side of me, and in the reflection of the glass, I could see him messing with the injection needle and flicking it several times, like it was messed up or something. After another few minutes of me watching him do this I got up and left the room and asked the receptionist if I could cancel and get a refund. (I was afraid he didn't know what he was doing.) Dr. Cook stopped me as the receptionist was processing my refund and told me everything was ok, so I let him give me the botox. He did not use ice packs, like the previous person (Denise) did each time I went to her. He also dropped his needle cover down my shirt -- twice! My face still hurts from the injections and that never has happened before. I was so shocked at this experience and it felt completely unprofessional. I couldn't wait to leave. I know everyone has a bad day and I think they must be busier than they can handle... but I hope this review can help them address/fix some of the issues they are having or they will lose business.
