  • My Vegas buffet ranking has been the same till now: top tier - Wynn, Bellagio second tier - Paris (brunch) value pick - TI (lunch/dinner) We stopped here at the WS afer checking out of a stay at the Cosmo, before jumping back on the plane, and got there right as they opened at 8am. Little did I know then that WS would be vaulting itself to the top of my top tier picks. Price wise, it's on par with Wynn/Bellagio, but the interior decor, serving ware, and presentation are just a bit nicer and more upscale (admittedly, probably because it's newer). A lot of their dishes are served pre-plated, which I thought was a bit gimmicky (i.e. fried chicken in mini-fryer baskets) but actually makes the experience better in a lot of ways (no messed up platters from previous buffet-mongers). . When it comes right down to it though, the food was excellent. Personal highlights from our brunch were the aforementioned fried chicken, BLT Caesar style salad, Virginia ham, and flourless chocolate cake and a berry cobbler from their dessert section. Honorable mention for their muffins and pastries as well. The only real disappointment I had were their red velvet pancakes - if they weren't red I wouldn't have known they were supposed to be red velvet...still good though, especially with the cream cheese cream that comes on the side. Extra points for details (the creamer for my coffee came in a metal version of milk carton). I've been a Wynn buffet evangelist since...well the Wynn, but I think WS may have just leapfrogged it. Guess I'll have to come back to compare the two again soon.
