My boyfriend and I went for restaurant week the other night. The food was great (grilled octopus, scallops, bread pudding, to highlight a few), and the waiter was trying really hard to add to the experience. Sometimes more successfully than others. My boyfriend upgraded to the filet, and really liked it, but it wasn't exactly a man-sized-appetite portion for the extra $$. Also, he said it wasn't as good as Del Friscos. Which was pretty easy to counter with "well, steak is their specialty"...so I would caution you to manage your expectations. We saw friends there who said the chicken was phenomenal. Maybe try that.
Atmosphere is a good for a date or small group. A large group (8+) would consume the place and raise the noise level, possibly ruining the experience for others.
The brunch is outstanding and probably the best in the city (way better than that crap Nan & Byron's tries to pass off as upscale). Absolutely worth the price.
