| - First, I like the orange floors! I think it adds warmth to the grocery store which I find is usually a cold experience. Both physically and personally.
Second, this Marketplace set-up is closer to the Loblaws downtown. It is very nice, with an upscale feel (at least near the entrance), and prices are marginally more expensive than the Superstore.
Third, WINE & BEER SOLD HERE! Otherwise, I thought this was just a rumour as NO grocery stores near me sell wine & beer. It's very strange. When I heard that grocery stores were first doing this, on the news, I didn't think it was true.
Anyway, since this particular location is nestled across from a brownfield, surrounded by parks, and in between Port Credit and Lorne Park, I don't think it ever gets busy. Seems kinda quaint, actually.
It's sort of out of my way, but if I'm in the area, I definitely will not hesitate to stop by!
P.S. Ignore the older shopping cart guy. He was overly friendly and told me ask if I needed a ride home. He's harmless though...I'm sure.
