You definitely pay for what you get which was prefect for me and two other girl friends for a long weekend. Hotel feels like a step above a hostel so if you are easy going and not looking for top notch quality then this prefect if you are on a budget. There are pictures online and that is basically what you get. Free wifi, mini-fride (not a mini bar - which was nice!), and great water pressure. The three of us (3 females between the ages of 22-25) didn't feel on top of us and though it was prefect for our needs.
The location was so great which was a HUGE plus for us! About two blocks away from St. Denis Street which is a pretty popular main drag in Old Montreal. The metro (which is super easy to navigate) was at the end of the block and allowed us to get just about anywhere in the city. St. Hubert is more a residential street.
The only thing we had trouble with was the first night with some frat guys who were loudly fighting at 4am. It was like they were in the same room as us. After a couple knocks on the wall got them to stop. Obviously, not the hotels fault, but that is the type of other people we noticed staying at the hotel along with a couple of older couples in their late 40s and a younger family with a baby.
