I really like oysters. I wanted them for lunch but this place didn't open until 430. I made a reservation just in case. The Happy Hour was very oyster centric. The drinks were tasty but lightly poured so no worries if you order a couple. I had the smoke break and the New fashioned. If you like boozy the New fashioned is your best bet. The fried green tomatoes were perfect just the right amount of cornmeal breading. The hush puppies were also good. The smoked Lamb ribs were a tossup. The flavor profile was amazing but they can be a little fatty. The seafood gumbo was good but lacked real spice. There was a minor upset at the beginning regarding seating... The hostess worked it out but asked that we leave the table by 630. We got there at 5 so it seems odd they would leave that table empty for 90 minutes? Place gets really noisy as it fills up so be prepared for that. I would do it again but it would fall behind some other eatieries locally.
