  • Good quality drinks. Staff was off knowledge wise. Walking in and wanting to try something new, the cashier lent me a menu and patiently waited for me to decide. I decided to get medium Honey Milk Tea no ice and regular sugar, and a Hokkaido Milk Tea (warm). Since warm prices aren't listed in the menu, I asked if it would be the medium size price ($4.80) or large price ($5.30). She was confident saying it was $4.80. When I looked at the screen, it said Honey Milk Tea WARM for $4.80 ($4.80 is the price of a large Honey Milk Tea). She didn't punch in Hokkaido. I corrected her and she fixed it. I asked again for the Hokkaido warm and again how much it would be. She looked at the menu with me, pointed at the price, and said "$4.80". I said, "Okay, I'll have it" and she punched it in. I looked at the screen and it said Hokkaido Milk Tea WARM for $5.30. I ask why it is 50 cents more, and she said she is not sure, the system is "just like that". So I asked her if I pay the amount according to the system, if I would get 50 cents back since it is actually $4.80. She was unsure how to answer me and said again, it was just the system saying it was $5.30. I was confused. If it is the wrong price and you can't fix it on screen, pay me back the difference? Or do a manual calculation and let me pay 50 cents less? Frustrated at her lack of understanding, I gave up and just said "okay....fine I'll get it." The Hokkaido Milk Tea was really good. I gave the other drink to my friend who enjoyed hers as well. HOWEVER, please train your staff better. I don't mind forking over $5.30, but don't tell me it is $4.80, then seeing a larger sum, and refusing to reimburse me because "of the system". It was incredibly awkward and confusing.
