  • I love coming into Seconds City and finding a great deal! I recently bought a really cool dresser with nice clean lines for only $40, because it had been in the store for more than 2 months. I couldn't fit it into my tiny Prius, so they held on to it and let me come back a few days later to pick it up. I believe they also have delivery service for a reasonable fee. I think their consignment policy makes them more of a great place to buy rather than sell - I wonder about the original owners of some of the furniture, and whether they're royally pissed when their stuff ends up selling for only pennies on the dollar. I guess you would have to accept that possibility before selling... The selection is great!!! I love that I can go in with a specific item in mind (ie, an end table) and generally be able to find a dozen to choose from!
