rev:text	My First Service Visit After Purchasing Vehicle from Jaguar of North Scottsdale: I made an appointment with Shaun Moss at 10:00am to get my 2012 JaguarXJ service. I had purchased this automobile in July of 2015. Calen Arminjo had sold the vehicle to me. Mr. Moss had all of his tattooing covered, save one. He also had his motorcycle helmet on his filing cabinet. Confidence builder? Maybe the Triple Ds in Scottsdale like that. I don't know. Anyway, apparently, the appointments are just guidelines. My vehicle was at their door at 10:00am. I didn't actually sit down with Mr. Moss until 17 minutes after 10. The first quote that he put in front of me was the estimate for the 4 year service. It was for $484. That wasn't the reason that promulgated the service call. The reason that I brought the Jaguar in was for a parking sensor that had been pushed through the front bumper. The quote to address that was presented only after I asked whether the sensor would be covered by the warranty. It would not be covered by the warranty. Apparently, that was my fault. The quote for pulling that back through the bumper(labor) was $165 plus any parts required. I authorized this as Mr. Moss didn't seem invested in my satisfaction to keep my business. Perhaps if I was a size 2 female with large breasts he would have been motivated. Who knows? However, I declined to authorize the 4 year service until I knew the final cost on the sensor. According to Mr. Moss, I would hear from him this afternoon on that. I was given a loaner and was left to wait. All in all, not too bad of a visit, save the attempted bait and switch by the service advisor. I'll post again when I pick up my Jag.
