  • If you are ever in the Charlotte area or live there and need emergency help with alterations, do not hesitate, Cassandra's is the place you MUST go. I had a dress designed while stationed overseas but I couldn't try the dress on prior before being sewn together. I received the dress 2 days before my sister's wedding and I was maid of honor. I wear a size 12. The dress was made for a size 4/6. It was horrible! I flew from Los Angeles into Charlotte and searched the yellow pages. I went to two different places that could not fix it. Cassandra's website showed it closed on Monday, but I still called. She was in the shop on her day off and told me to come by to see if she could assist. From the time I walked in her shopped she immediately gave a warm feeling of, "I am sure I can help". She spent that day and the next day to basically remake the dress all over again during a busy holiday...July 4th. Her rate was super cheap and she simply took a stressful situation and just said, "Don't worry, I will fix it, and you will be okay." She gets 10 stars instead of 5.
