| - When checking into the MGM Grand Resort Hotel we were first greeted at the check-in line and asked to check into the signature area. As we were escorted to the resort area we looked at each other and smiled very politely and we're greeted very professionally it felt very good as this was our first real trip to Las Vegas together on vacation we have been here before for business and not pleasure. That being said this review will be based on that experience. When we checked into the hotel they gave us a suite at the price that we paid for the hotel. The room was absolutely beautiful and breathtaking, we had an excellent view of the hotels from the window which was very small but very nice. The service we received was remarkable and professional on a level we did not believe they could hold down. What a surprise it was and what a courtesy it was to receive this type of treatment. I will always book MGM Grand from now on, if I am to return to Vegas for pleasure. The resort fees and room fees can be negotiated online if you book early enough or use coupons or comp if you have some available. There are always events here, concerts, fights, and festivities. The mall is located on the bottom floor and is very big and plentiful for shopping. There is a Walgreens inside of the mall inside of the MGM Grand Hotel as well as grocery stores, liquor stores, clothing stores, about five to six different restaurants, a deli, and places to watch TV, movies, a wax museum, CSI the experience, and places to watch late-night television and become a part of the cast that visit the area. There is an exterior area to walk to which gains access to the strip and also areas to park. You have access to the monorail here at this location so you do not have to walk or pay for a taxi if you really want to take a trip around Las Vegas. The pool at this hotel is magnificent and large with Cabanas that you can rent and parties you can have including DJ booths. There is a club here I think about 5 different clubs. There is also restaurants that are unbelievable for every taste. Including a full Sushi Bar and Restaurant and fresh everything. There are plenty of places to take pictures as this is a very photogenic building and the home of the MGM Grand lion which was unbelievable. There are discounts and coupons, and stations where you can purchase discounted rates rooms and shows. End of book. Enjoy!!!
