  • This place has improved tremendously over the last several years. I'm embarrassed to say that while walking around wearing my sleeping newborn this has become a semi-regular stop for me (I even announce "I'm here for my sugar" when I walk in now). Some of my favourites include the scones and cookies. But the coconut dream bars and nanaimo bars are also decadently good for the occasional indulgence. I follow these folks on Instagram and they make some very impressive looking custom birthday cakes. I have had the pleasure of tasting a few of these at various kids birthday parties and they have not disappointed. The only negatives are that the area around the display window and cash is cramped and chaotic, as others have noted, and the coffee isn't the greatest (I'll admit to getting coffee elsewhere and grabbing a treat from Celena's to go).
