| - I took my dog here last night because I found her lethargic, she had urinated on herself, and seemed out of it. I was so scared and in a panic. I have serious health issues and take medications and got a medical marijuana card. I eat the edibles for the pain and nausea. I didn't know if I had dropped a little piece of cookie or if she got stung by something in the yard. I just didn't know so when I took her into the office, I was very honest because I LOVE my dog and would do anything for her safety. The first thing I get from the "lady" at the front of the office was I'd have to pay 85.00 dollars to Poison Control which confused me, but I was so upset, I just did not say anything. They handed me some paperwork to fill out, as I was doing that, the same "lady" walked up to me and handed me a number to Poison Control and said I'd have to call them. I said, well we don't even know if that's what it is yet and she had the audacity to say, well, you're the one who told me that and I corrected her saying, I said, it could have been a possibility. All the while, not one person came to get my dog or even look at her. I honestly about lost my cool, but instead, I got up and said I'll go somewhere else. Fortunately my friend told me another Emergency Animal shelter not far from there. The place is BluePearl Emergency Pet Hospital. Take your animals here instead. They took my dog right away to the back to be looked at and treated me with respect and compassion and their prices were reasonable. Thank God my dog is alright. Don't bring your animals here. They have no compassion or sensitivity to the pets or their owners. I work in the public and will tell anyone who will listen to me to never go to this establishment. I would be ashamed to work here.
