  • Review for CHOKLAT 101 Sweet Sweet Choklat, I have to give you a one star based on my private Birthday Party Booking. Here's why: Cons: - I wanted to have my invites call to reserve their spot and pay via credit card or have them pay when they arrived but you wouldn't let me, instead you made me pay for the whole thing and then told me that I would have to collect from my guests... how awkward for me... - Its a wine and chocolate tasting... we came from dinner and drinks... could you not have had a glass of wine waiting for our arrival? We were thirsty and you had no water and held out on the wine for over an hour! -You specialize in truffles.. No business in their right mind would have not let us experience what their company is about... oh wait, you did... I can not believe you did not show us truffle making... shocked really. - I had a pregnant guest, I told you in advance and had to request that you have something other then wine for her as she is PREGNANT, you didn't offer to reduce the cost for her ( that's fine ) but what is not okay... You had NOTHING for her, not even water...You have got to be kidding me. - You forgot that I booked my party over 1 month in advance...we were informed of this when we arrived...normally the owner host the party but.... he forgot so we got a chocolatier... in my opinion, based on how the owner runs his business, this was a good thing. (I agree that he was fantastic) - I would assume after you forgot about me and we spent a ton of money for this event, you would have called me to see how things went.... maybe you knew? Cause you sure didn't call. - I wanted to try another small piece of one of the chocolates, I was told no because it was to expensive, really... sorry $40 per person... what about too expensive... huh? So to wrap this up, the only reason you should even get a one star is because the chocolate who hosted us saved your butt! I certainly would not be back to your poorly florescent lite shop, nor would I recommend the Choklat 101... big expensive mistake.
