  • Worst manicure I've ever had. I've been here 2x and all the girls at work go here and love this place. My first manicure was great - I had one of the male employees do my manicure. 2nd time was a female employee and a total disaster. To start, I made an appointment and the lady that answered the phone forgot to write it in the main appointment book, so we had to wait 15 min after we got there to be helped. The lady that did my nails kept cutting my cuticles too deep that it hurt and I kept pulling my hand back. She made me bleed on my thumb. Then, when she was painting on the gel nails, she would overshoot on each nail and paint over my cuticles but correct this by scraping her nail along my cuticles. This was painful and created jagged edges around the bottom of my nails. I wasn't paying attention to how it looked until they were done so by that point it was too late to ask her to fix it, plus that's just her technique and there were no other employees available to take over so I was stuck with the poor job. Next day after all the lotions washed off, I noticed I had at least 5 hang nails. So I call back to make another appointment and ask to have this fixed over lunch. They can't get me in until 2. I'm thinking his will take all of 5 minuets so I wasn't happy but agreed. I get there and they sit me with the same lady that did my manicure. First she accused me of having thin nails is why I have the hang nails. This isn't true. I insisted on her fixing them still. She then said she was afraid too trim the sides of my nails since she cut me and made me bleed the day before. I had to point out every single hang nail and spot of rough skin on the edge of my nails for her to trim because she would just trim one and then say it was all good. After all of that, I wouldn't have written this review but... The gel manicure lasted all of 4 days before it started peeling back from the cuticles. By day 7 (today) the gel polish is peeling back so far and splitting and snagging on things and I'm going to have to take it off. Typically my gel manicures last 2 weeks. I own my own gel manicure light and polish. I can do a better job myself. The only reason I got my nails done was to save time because I haven't been feeling well, so now I'm beyond trying to contact them again to get this fixed as I've already had to go in 2x and it's sucked up a lot of my time.
