| - Normally this isn't a place I'd go to. It's far from my house, is not in the prettiest part of town, and it's sort of jammed into this shopping plaza like it was a serious afterthought. You walk in and the place is pretty plain; you're greeting will depend on which girl happens to be up front. The Chinese family that owns the place are still learning English and are fairly nice, a couple of the girls they employ don't seem happy to be there, but one of the girls is very sweet and was mostly the reason we agreed to come back.
My mother decided she wanted a set of silk eyelashes. Previous reviews I've read said this place clumped multiple false lashes on a single lash (bad for your eyelash), but this was not the case with us. We were shown photos of 10 different styles of eyelash styles, going from subtle/natural to a handful of extremely dramatic styles. They made sure we knew exactly what we wanted and they provided a great service. $100 for silk eyelashes is standard pricing, and it took an hour. So very pleased on that aspect. Lasts 5 weeks, refills are $60.
They offer other services I've never heard of, like natural breast enhancement and permanent acne treatments. I was very skeptical, but I had time, so I browsed through their before/after pictures. While results vary I can say it seems these work from the candid photos. I decided to try an acne treatment, which was $100. You can buy a package of 12 treatments (pay at all at once or in two installments) or go one at a time. For cystic and serious troubles, I'd say go for the 12 treatment plan. After your 12th treatment, if you aren't completely cured, all treatments after are FREE of charge. You are guaranteed results. For less serious issues, you may find yourself cured in only 6 treatments.
I'm someone who has been through every acne treatment on earth. You name it, I've done it. I'm used to doing at-home chemical peels once a month! So I gave the treatment a try. Only the Chinese family does this treatment on patients because it's super secret, according to the girl who did my mom's eyelashes. I felt a gentle poke in my shoulder a couple times and was done. Can't get it wet for 24 hours, and your next treatment is exactly 15 days afterwards. Did it work? YES! I woke up the next morning and had significant healing, and 10 days later, I'm still not breaking out as badly as normal. I'll need a few more treatments but I'm willing to say this works. The best part is, you heal from the inside outwards, so you're not left with awful scarring. I'm very happy with the results.
