Let me start by saying I love Dutch bros!! I've been to many across the west coast and have never been disappointed. I really don't go there for the coffee. I go because of the customer service. Everyone is having a good time and they take care of you as a guest. This time, however, was not the case.
My wife and I pulled up in line. Shorter line with only 6 cars so I was pumped that it should go quickly. The car in front of us was getting their order taken. About three-ish minutes goes by and a guy walks up to my car. I asked how he was doing and he responded with "what can I get for you" (not a big deal, probably didn't hear me). I asked for a regular iced 911. At this point an employee (girl) walks up (off the clock by what I gathered) and strikes up a conversation. I assume it'll go quick but instead they chat about some girl named Jessica ditching on him. As that conversation continues, the car in front of me finishes and moves forward. At this point the employee has not acknowledged what I had ordered. The girl gives him a hug. I think it has ended and we can get back to what I had ordered. Instead the girl walks forward and the guy follows her as he pointed his hand forward(no verbal communication to me whatsoever). Not sure what to do I just stay put, he then responds to the girl "guess we're not moving forward". Really? I understand talking about guests behind there back because they didn't do what you expected them to do but to say it to there face! Clearly Unprofessional and unacceptable. So he came back to my car and at this point I was fed up and said, "actually I think I'm going to pass". He acted shocked and said "oh ok" without an attempt to recover me as a guest or an apology. He then continued the conversation with the girl as I was backing out.
I will not go to Thai Dutch bros again. It is unfortunate that this was the closest Dutch bros as we just moved to the area. There are other ones that I can go to even if they are Inconvient for me.
