  • I'm currently chilling in The Little Video Shop on Baldwin, using their new free wi-fi and sipping a latte. It's a really cute place to get a bit of work done and everyone is sooooo friendly. I love the decorative fish & the movies in the background that serve as ambient music (edit to add; right now, it is the King's Speech scene where Colin Firth swears to help with the stuttering and it is amazing.). Being students, my roommates and I could never bring ourselves to getting the membership, but we often came for gelato. In fact, the following happened on our first visit: us: OMG I'm short a dollar. Sir, we live really close, our one roommate will run home to get the dollar, we'll stay here. presumed shop owner: "don't worry, you can pay next time" We ran home to get the dollar, of course, but such a cool vibe. Come enjoy.
