Called 90 minutes prior to closing. I am less than 2 miles from them waiting for a tow to a dealer they serve. I explained my true dilemma to the agent. "Sorry m'aam, we close in an hour and a half and are not doing any more pick ups" No offer of an alternative or ... gasp...going the extra mile for a stranded driver. They just lost a customer for life! And an 8 day rental today! I am a full time business traveler. After today's treatment, i will certainly eliminate Enterprise as a possible car rental service and pass this along to my colleagues. Foolish business!
