| - NOT TRUSTWORTHY AND VERY DISRESPECTFUL!
Several weeks ago my future sister-in-law went to view this location for her wedding. After showing up for the tour, which had been booked 2 weeks in advance, she found out that the ranch manager and wedding planner hadn't come in that day. She had received no call or heads up and while an employee was there to give a tour anyways, her attitude made it clear that she did not consider this to be her job and/or her problem. However, the view and loving family environment hooked her and even my brother, who hadn't been able to attend the tour, was extremely excited for this location and they immediately booked a date and began to plan. Sadly, after weeks of being led on and jerked around about when she was to receive the contract, she received a call from the manager saying they were going to "pass on her having her wedding there" Needless to say we were shocked. After not showing up to a tour they booked, and then day after day of leading her on about when she was to receive the contract. They called and treated her like she was unreasonable for getting frustrated over not having received the contract, after they told her MULTIPLE times it would just be a few more days.
After seeing my future sister-in-law walk into the room in tears because of the poor treatment from Saguaro Lake, I immediately called them to try and smooth things over. Jamie then told me how they do not lead brides on (which is exactly what they were doing and would continue to do so) and that her date had been booked but she kept calling asking for the contract (how dare she want a contract for a $10,000+ VENUE?!). But Jamie said she would talk to Sean A-Lee and give me a call back on Monday. Just like they had done with my soon to be sister-in-law they never called me back, so I finally called them and got ahold of the manager. She proceeded to tell me how things were fine and we had our date still booked and that she would call within the next week to finalize things. Surprise surprise we never received that call either.
This venue has no professionalism whatsoever and they do not treat people with respect and/or courtesy. If you're considering this venue you will be paying $10-16,000 dollars, however they will treat you like you should be thankful that they are allowing you to use their property. Instead of as the high paying customer you are. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE.
