  • We chose this company because they had the lowest of 3 bids and were recommended to me by a friend. Seeming to be convenient, they say they do not need to do an in-home estimate; it can be done over the phone. (Right...) Against my better judgment, I didn't insist on an in-home estimate. They were reluctant to send someone to our city to do one, and they told us they could use another company's in-home estimate. We were up against a deadline, so that's what we did. BIG MISTAKE. Once we signed the contract, their customer service was non-existent. They said the driver would call us to let us know when he would arrive. No call. They switched drivers for our move and didn't tell us. Normally, you would think that's ok, but it means that something has happened they haven't told you that may negatively impact your moving experience. So, we got no call. I had to call them to find out when they were arriving. They sent a crew out that was already exhausted from a big move they had done a day before. The crew was 3 hours late getting to our house because somehow the keys had gotten locked in the cab. That meant that they didn't get done moving our things onto the truck until late in the night. It was a straight delivery so that meant that we had to drive to our new residence, which is in another state, overnight, so that we would be there to meet the truck the next day. We packed everything ourselves except our electronic equipment. When we unpacked these items, they had not been properly packed - only some packing paper shoved around them. No delicate pieces had been individually protected, so there was damage to these items. One piece is probably irreparable. It's too old to be restored. When I mentioned this to Leah, the customer service supervisor, she said implied that I should have been supervising the packing of those items! I thought movers who were professionals didn't need supervising! Guess not. The attitude of this company once they have your money is to treat you like your concerns are unimportant. They ignore you rather than help you. NEVER EVER choose this company. You will regret it.
