I came here kinda just like everyone and trying their bubble tea selection in a lightbulb. To be honest, it is a very neat concept, it is very cute. It is definitely "Instagram worthy".
However, this was the second time we came in here. The first time was a month ago and they workers informed us they ran out of lightbulbs since they were all occupied by customers. This time, we went near closing so there were many lightbulbs left. The drinks that are served in the lightbulbs ranges from $6-$8. Which is quite pricey compared to Chatime or CoCo which are nearby walking distance from this Royaltea location.
The bubble tea was nothing too spectacular, it just seemed very overpriced for it's taste and from just drinking out of a lightbulb shaped glass. I ordered a Big Bang Passion Fruit bubble tea which was almost $8 and it was very presentable with a LED on the bottom so the drink basically glowed and looked very cool.
One thing that stood out was the customer service. One staff in particular who was taking our order was very friendly and helped us explain how the whole lightbulb feature is and gave us suggestions on which bubble tea we both should get.
They have a lot of dine-in seating since they also have a small little menu for dessert choices. It's very modern, clean and have a comfortable vibe. They also have free wi-fi. It also wasn't too loud so it seems great for catching up with your friend or studying alone or with a group!
