  • My coworker was dying to try this place it out so I decided to accompany him to see what all the hype was about. There are a bunch of flavours to choose from. The one we tried was the chocolate brownie one. It came with chocolate ice cream, a chunk of brownie, chocolate sauce, and blow-torched marshmallows. This place tries to stand out by using nitrogen to make their ice cream, and although the concept sounds cool, it was super gimmicky. I don't really know what I was expecting but the experience was incredibly underwhelming. It was cool for all about 2 seconds until I was bored and just wanted to eat my ice cream. Now, with that being said, I was very pleasantly surprised when I tried the ice cream. It was damn good! It was so creamy, almost like gelato, and tasted delicious. The tiny bits of brownie blended into the ice cream also kicked the flavour up a notch. I also enjoyed the marshmallows because they had that "burnt" flavour you get with blow-torched food. Chocolate sauce was also well done and did not taste like your regular packaged sauces you get at the grocery store. To keep it short and simple- the whole use of nitrogen in their ice cream is a complete fad, but damn, it was some good ice cream!
