  • Shane Hauser (uses various business names apparently) was very nice and professional initially. We foolishly paid him 50% in advance $1,318.75 for a snow removal contract. He did show up to install the snow markers at one point but never removed one spot of snow when it did snow. I emailed, texted and called repeatedly with no response for days. Finally received a text response that he was out of town (odd for someone who supposedly does snow removal)...nonetheless blamed his "guys" for not showing up and said he'd take care of it. Almost a week later when we decided enough is enough and found someone else he says "I'll be there in 30 minutes". Too late...we found someone else and now find on WI Circuit Court site that he has numerous issues. Not sure it's worth paying another $94.50 to sue him in small claims court. Unlikely to recover anything I am guessing. I spent a period of 16 days trying to collect our money from this Scam Artist, BEWARE!
