Just finished my first cut here. Who knew the best barber in town is just blocks from my Point Breeze apartment? I've tried many Pittsburgh barbers from South Side to Squirrel Hill to Bloomfield, and 90-year-old Paul is the best, hands down. Very precise, uses a variety of razors and scissors and finishes with an eyebrow trim and warm shaving cream around the ears and back with a straight razor. Also a joy to talk to, and the waiting room has a variety of good magazines. As others noted, he takes his time. Let him; it's worth it. At $15 (cash) he's cheaper than crappy Super Cuts, and you don't have to tolerate right-wing politics and Fox News like in Bloomfield. Go soon and give him a good tip!
