  • First time I had a cut and color with coupon and it was good. I then had to cancel my next appointment due to illness. Bruce called me several times until I finally agreed to schedule another appointment. Second time I just had a haircut. I didn't realize what he had done until later that night because he had styled it ok. I was mortified when I saw what he did to my hair. The right side was shorter than the left, half way up and was totally not what he had done previously. I called and told him I wanted to go back so he could see it. I heard him laughing as he hung up the phone. When I arrived a few days later, another customer was in the salon so I took him outside and told him I did not want to embarrass him. He did not apologize for what he had done to my hair but did offer to see what he could do. When I asked how? he said he didn't know and that it was not done intentional. He would have had to shave my hair off to fix it. He kept saying, "what do you want me to do" and "sorry that you didn't like the haircut" and then started to walk back to the salon and again I heard him laughing. I left and called him when I returned home and left him a message telling him I could not get my hair back but I wanted a cash refund of $35. He returned my call and insisted I paid with a debit card and would not believe I paid with cash. He was yelling at me and finally said he would give me the cash the next day and hung up on me. I later thought about it and decided to call him again to apologize because I didn't think it was intentional. I think he had a bad day and my hair paid the price. I thought I would give him a chance to fix it even though I didn't believe anyone could. When he picked up the phone I started to apologize and told him I thought he was being very unprofessional laughing. He denied laughing and before I could finish what I wanted to say, he was rude saying, "you can't keep calling me" and was screaming and then hung up on me. I decided to pick up my $35 the next day and when I arrived he had a customer there and he handed me the cash. I said, "I wish you would have listened to what I wanted to say, because I was trying to apologize" and he cut me off and said, "Whatever" and I left. Now I know why he told me my first time there that customers don't stay. He claimed it was because they just come in on coupons and they are not loyal like years ago. But now I know it's the haircuts. Don't be caught up in first impressions because this totally blew me away. He doesn't even deserve a rating. If you decide to go, I hope you have better luck than me.
