  • Good solid comprehensive eye care center. My dad see a retinal ophthalmologist that is nationally known. Dr. Ridley is top in her class and don't be surprised if your appointment with her is rescheduled as she responds to emergency surgery situations in the Charlotte area and New York City. Se is all business, do don't expect hugs and kisses, but do expect that she knows her stuff. I have been to two facilities of Horizon, the Park Road and the Wavery location to see Dr. David L. Smith. He is quite a personable fellow who gave me a very thorough exam for my after-cataract. Diagnosis was that we needed to wait a year before lazing it out. See him next year. Horizon also has locations in Cotswold, Huntersville, Mooresville and the University area. The doctors shuttle to different offices each week, but, the appointment desk knows where each doctor is on any given day. Excellent diagnosis and treatment for eyes.
