  • This food is absolutely phenomenal! I first visited this place a few years ago after reading an article in the NY Times ("36 Hours in Charlotte, NC -- http://www.nytimes.com/2014/08/31/travel/things-to-do-in-36-hours-in-charlotte-nc.html?_r=0) and have been back several times since. My favorite things to order are... - BBQ Queso (app) - Bacon Wrapped Jalapenos (app or side) - Classic Mac & Cheese (side) - Dry Rubbed Ribs (entree) - Well Fed Combo Platter (entree for 2) - Stockyard taco (entree) The restaurant itself can get a little crowded. Go early to avoid a long wait. Outdoor seating (on a covered and climate-controlled patio) is available and is what I prefer. Parking can be a little cumbersome. The original restaurant is in Plaza Midwood. They have since expanded to Ballantyne and have plans to expand in Park Rd. Shopping Center.
