Our first room had missing receptacle wall plates, a non-working air conditioner, spider webs and what looked to be mold on the bathroom ceiling. The people were helpful and allowed us to change rooms the next day - but the second room was not much better. Although it was a little more clean, the recliner was stuck in the open position, the prefab shower stall insert seemed unstable, and I again had air conditioner problems.
Another big problem for me was the wifi service. I had continuous problems on two different computers and when I called to ask about the wifi service, I was offered the ISP's phone number. After seeing the router sitting on its side outside in a plastic unsealed box, I just gave up.
To be completely fair, this is a cheap hotel but I would have rather spent $20 more and got a clean room elsewhere. It seems to be run by a family of really nice people but the rooms we stayed in were unacceptable.
