| - I had high expectations for the space knowing that it's owned by the same group that did Valley Bar and Crescent, but it more than exceeded expectations. I went to the sold-out Sylvan Esso show and I can honestly say it was one of the best concert experiences I've had in the past year.
Customer Service:
Everyone, and I mean everyone, from security to the bartenders were so nice and welcoming, even during a completely sold out show when they were slammed and trying to provide great service to a ton of people.
Drinks and Food:
Haven't tried to food yet, but so happy that they provide snacks, including veggie options (and they all sound delicious). Good beer selection and yummy cocktails, AND canned wine, which is actually pretty good!
Atmosphere:
This place is beautiful and it's nice to see new life brought to an old building in the heart of Phoenix. From the chandeliers, to the lobby tiles, to the Arizona themed murals near the stage, it's clear that a lot of thought and care went into designing a fun space that shows some AZ pride. There's also a huge patio that I can't wait to spend more time on when the weather is cooler.
Show experience:
Fantastic! I was standing towards the back of the room and the sound was spot on and I could pretty easily find a good location to see the band. The room feels intimate without feeling cramped and there was plenty of room to dance!
All in all, I cannot wait to go to more shows here. What a great addition to Downtown PHX!
