  • If I could give 0 stars I would. Took my dog to get groomed on Monday. We have been going there for years and have never had a problem. It took my husband almost 30 minutes to drop our golden retriever off. The groomer was not understanding what we wanted done... Which was the same thing we always get done- furminator and a feather trim. Finally, 5 hours later they called for us to pick her up. When she came out from the back I was horrified... He shaved my dogs whole body!!!! My golden retriever who is double coated (you are not suppose to shave double coated dogs) now looks like a giant shaved rat! They were suppose to only shave her belly as per the grooming notes. I am so devastated as to the fact that her hair grows back in patches (we learned this by not having a choice to shave a part of her side for surgery last year). I had to ask they they take the furminator off and still paid $93 for them ruin my dogs coat and they still wanted to charge me for it because they still did it. Found out they have a great look guarantee later that night so I went back yesterday to speak with a store manager. Did not even get an apology that this happened to my dog and I had to ask for my money back, was not even offered the money back from her. I was planning on staying with Petsmart because it is convenient to our house and just make sure we never used that groomer again, but how I was treated by the store manager... Never again!! I wish I could post a picture to show everyone the horrific shave job on my dog! We live in Las Vegas where we have a lot of sunshine so now I can only let my dog out for a little bit at a time and can no longer take her out on our walks until her hair starts to grow back to avoid getting sun burned. Please stay away from their grooming salon!!!
