| - This review is a tad delayed as I was there in early December. I do remember it, but I had to read some of my co-workers reviews to truly remember my full experience. Went there with about 12+ people for dinner. We had a reservation, yet they seated us at these small round tables pushed together. Not good for a group at all. No one really had any table space or personal space. That part was not well thought out. At all. I get that the space is supposed to be modern and artsy, but don't modern and artsy people need proper seating arrangements for a group dinner? LOL.
That being said, they did serve me the best, and I mean the very best extra dirty martini I've ever had. It was filled to the brim, like an infinity pool, and I watched as our server masterfully and slowly brought it to me. He didn't spill a drop. Bravo! It was ice cold and had that briney taste I crave in a dirty martini. The blue cheese stuffed olives were so tasty and fancy.
The food? Well, it's not what you imagine it would be in a fancy-pants type of setting. It's more like elevated pub grub. Sandwiches, burgers, wings. I enjoyed the food, but with the type of food served and our seating/table arrangements, it just didn't work. It was like we were all sitting at the kids' table at Thanksgiving. Picture it - I know you just did.
I ordered the Bigger Mac, and it really was delicious. The waffle fries were good too, as well as the apps that we had to share. I really loved those bacon wrapped water chestnuts.
The decor and ambiance of the restaurant do not match the type of food they serve. It's just a bit off-putting. I was expecting more of a foodie type place, which is what if feels like, but the food was more like a sports bar. It's interesting to be sure.
