  • As soon as I heard about the opening of the High Roller I couldn't wait to go on it. I have a soft spot for pretty views and rides. A week before my trip I saw High Roller being advertised on Groupon so I got the deal! I went on a Sunday night around 8:30pm with a group of 5. Because we all had either a groupon or Living social voucher, we were able to skip the lines and go straight to the ride. It was a beautiful view of the strip. I personally think its best to go at night to see all the glamorous lights that shine throughout Vegas. If I were rating the view itself- it would get 5 stars. CON- you are in the ferris wheels with groups of "strangers." the group we got stuck with was weird and ruined our experience. I understand to make it a faster line- you have to group groups together but I wish we had our own cart. The ride also looks a lot more entertaining while in motion in advertisements. Overall it was a nice experience to see the strip up high at night. I would not ride again. It is overpriced. I can just go to the rooftop somewhere and get a similar view, for free!
