  • I realized I've been too liberal with my star rating. From now on, my mind has to be blown to get a 5-star review. Gaucho Parilla wasn't mind-blowing but the food was OUT-DANG-STANDING! I took my fiancĂ© there for his birthday last night and WOW! What a different experience. I got a steak burger, I'm not sure what his entree was, and we got empanadas. Everything was so good, especially my steak burger. That was a GREAT burger! Downsides - it was a little bit intimidating for an introvert like myself. You walk in, stand in line and order and pay for your food right away. Then you find a table yourself and your food is brought to you by some waiter coming into the dining room and yelling your name. I didn't like this. I want to be seated, have a waiter and a menu. But that's just my personal preference. I'll go back for the food.
