I was really excited to try this donut joint but was very confused when I finally did.
Walking in the place looked extremely bare with not much decor or much to it at all. The walls are almost completely empty and there is lots of wasted space.
I was really stoked to try the specialty Doughnuts but didn't know how or what they had to offer as specialties because it was not on a menu or anything. I was starting to think I needed to know the secret menu or something. I don't know super confusing. The price point was meh for the donuts they serve up. But I'll leave that for you to decide.
There's a small cooler of milk and juices and a few other drinks and then there is a small counter off to the side towards the front of the store with a pot of regular and a pot of decaf coffee along with sugar, creamer, napkins and utensils.
Service was sorta friendly and it was awkwardly quite. I prolly won't run back but I wouldn't count it out.
The strawberry shortcake was good but it must be eaten ASAP because it is filled with whip cream and that melts...maybe they should switch to cream cheese frosting or butter cream or something but I mean who doesn't like cream cheese frosting. The chocolate glaze on the chocolate bar my daughter got was pretty weird it was not like normal frosting in fact it turn her face blue as she was eating it. The red velvet was good and the horchata one was pretty good although I like the churro that was on top of the donut itself better LOL.
Any how great concept decent donuts and fun for the area so even though they can use some improvement go and support them because they are a small local business and I like the fact that they brought that to the neighborhood!
