  • If you don't currently have a mechanic, look no further. Hell, even if you DO have a mechanic, look no further! Gigantelli Auto is a family-owned shop run by the Gigantelli brothers (shocking!). I'm not quite sure if they are co-owners or if Joe runs the whole show. In a nutshell, they are some of the nicest, most honest guys I know. I know, I know: "What's next, a review on a used car salesman?" But honestly, I simply can't overemphasize how honest these guys are. I've gone into them before thinking my car was totally screwed and would cost thousands of dollars to fix, only to get a call from Joe explaining that it was something minor (i.e., the price tag on the visit had LESS than 4 digits). There might be other great mechanics in Calgary, but I'm not willing to mess with a great thing. Sometimes it can be a few days wait to get your vehicle in, but that's only because too many Calgarians already know about them! As a fellow Yelper, you deserve to know, too.
