  • My pediatrician referred me here for help with breast feeding. Dr. Witt and Maya helped me a few months ago with my newborn because we could not get the hang of it. While I know fed is best, it was my dream to nurse my baby (I have pictures of me "nursing" my dolls and stuffed animals as a little kid). They were so patient with us as I sobbed through pain and frustration and my baby cried from frustration and hunger. We went through the steps and different aiding devices to learn how. It was also determined my baby had a slight tongue tie which Dr. Witt was able to take care of that day. It was completely atraumatic and immediately made a difference. I'm just so grateful for the help because with the help of a nipple shield I have continued to nurse my baby until ta-da! she doesn't need it anymore and can nurse normally. I would have given up long ago and missed out on such bonding with my little girl.
