  • I have been coming to this salon for about 41/2 years. In that time I have seen a marked change in the salon. First, when the Atelier portion opened, it was obvious that the "elite" stylists went there. Second, the dress of a number of the stylists in Square changed to a little less polished. In the last 5 times I have gone (January 2018 was the last), the mood of the salon was a little too relaxed and the stylists were chit chatting everywhere amongst themselves and the salon was a little sloppy and unorganized. Lastly, I come to have a relaxing time, where I get to pamper myself and get away from the husband, dogs, kids... life! My favorite of which is having your hair cleaned and a head massage. But its too loud in there to relax! Even though the hair washing stations enclosure has a shhhhh.... sign, and people try not to talk, its completely overridden by the sound of pumping loud music. I love playing music so loud at home, body parts shake, but not where I am expecting a little more luxurious experience. Just lower the music, cut the loud talking out, clean up the place and the attire, all of which are no cost fixes. For the price you pay, it should be an elevated salon, not Ateliers ugly stepsister.
