| - My son has been attending this school since he was 3-years-old. I can't say enough positive things about the cirriculum. My son was reading at age 4-years-old, knew all of his sounds, simple Math, etc. I understand what some of these reviewers are talking about with the school looking like a prison, not allowed to be free-thinkers, etc. Frankly, I want my children to have a solid foundation on the basics, which is what Challenger provided and my child has accomplished. He will be going to another school for 1st grade, but let me say that my Kindergartner is reading, writing, and spelling at a third grade level. His math testing for Saxon is of a second grader. Where exactly will you find a foundation such as this for education? To me it's not about me and what I like, it's about my son learning and loving school, which is what he has done. I had complaints about one of his teachers, but she is long gone and since her departure my son has done nothing but thrive. His younger sister will attend Challenger for the foundation of academics. Challenger is not for everyone, but that doesn't make it a bad school, it just doesn't fit your child's learning style.
