  • I found this woman on Yelp and decided to make an appointment for my father who was visiting from CA. I chose Katie because of how others described her character in reviews. I was looking for a knowledgeable, skilled, and tenderhearted acupuncturist that would treat my father with the care and compassion a 70 year old man whom suffered through bladder cancer, bladder reconstruction, chemo, heart surgery, and a tear/repair in the intestines all within the past few short years. He has been shuffled around from doctor to doctor, operating rooms, hospital beds, and has paid a pretty penny through all of it as you may imagine. His main area of concern as of late is the numbness, tingling, and shooting pains down the arms into his hands. He was told by medical doctors that he had carpal tunnel and underwent surgery, but there was no relief. After I saw all the pain that he was in, I started doing my research. I called Katie and told her about his medical history and ask her if the practice she does could help with carpal tunnel. She obliged by seeing him the following day and we were so hopeful!! She had 3 sessions with my dad that week. Katie took almost 400 bucks and put him in MORE pain and an unbelievable amount of brusing that was so black and purple, he couldn't wear a tee shirt for days. Look, we didn't expect a miracle to take place here. BUT, what I DID EXPECT and HIGHLY disappointed is that she DID NOT FOLLOW THROUGH WITH HER WORD. She said she did research in the town of CA where my dad resides and would recommend a few fitting offices that could continue treatment. Empty promises of a recommended treatment plan, explanation of services preformed by Katie, names of qualified individuals whom may help with providing any kind of relief, and the list goes on. Even after I texted twice and asked for that information, I heard nothing from her. I believe Katie saw an old man who lived out of state and doubtedly would see again and took him for a quick buck!!! I believe she has no integrity, a lier, and in her profession for the money and NOT because she cares about people. If you're seeking relief and need help with pain management, spend your money on a true professional. Don't get beat up and conned by this woman. Thanks for reading.
