  • I always enjoy playing volleyball, so the actual experience was good I have to say. Upon walking into Beach Blast, I noticed a strong odour that is a mix of wet dog and mould. It was explained that the smell was due to having to wet the sand with water. I see that another user said the ventilation is poor, and I think that might be another factor. The women's change room feels dirty and awkwardly has a plastic dining table and dining chairs. This change room feels like a dirty public one that you would avoid going to if you could. It is nothing like a clean gym change room. I would recommend just wearing your clothes underneath and removing them when you get there. I also recommend bringing flip flops. While there are places to hang your jackets, they are situated near the front and not by your court. The expectation is to bring your jackets and bags and throw them on a chair by the court, which means you have to be prepared to get things covered in sand. I would come back for a fun game, but I really hope the odour issue is addressed.
