Customer service is beyond terrible. I moved up to Charlotte temporarily for work. The timeline was unknown so I did a 6 month lease with Grubb saying that I could go month to month if necessary. Then Connor Group moves in and says that this is no longer valid. My lease was supposed to be up July 3, and I was supposed to start in Atlanta July 15. See the dilemma? I told them this multiple times to see if we could work something out. Magenta the manager (who I came to realize is nothing but rude all of the time) told me there was zero way corporate would go for it.
2 weeks later I received 3 separate calls from "corporate" asking if I would like to extend my lease until November. Obviously my situation was not passed along by Magenta.
Rent is also absurdly high for the so called "amenities" they offer. Don't be fooled by "free wifi" I think dial up in the 90's was faster. Dog park is a 5 by 10 fenced in piece of grass, and the pool is nothing to write home about but I'm not too sure because they still haven't opened it due to permitting issues.
The only reason I chose to live here was the month to month lease promise that was immediately shot down by good ol Magenta.
Also the Lasership package delivery guy has formed a habit of leaving valuable packages strewn about the mail room which can be easily accessed by any and every one. 3 of my packages were stolen and when I brought this to the attention of the management I was essentially told "tough, better luck next time".
So big shout out to Magenta and Connor Group for really making this a must never do again experience!
