I joined the gym but not because of their great customer service or friendly staff. I had seen enough bad reviews regarding the staff so I had little expectations. BUT the one thing I did expect was a thank you for your business after I signed up 2 contracts, and inflated membership payments. I honestly think she was waiting for me to thank her for the worst tour ever, unprofessionalism in sales while she argued with the front desk guy that tried to walk me to someone else to join (the customer doesn't care to see a behind the scenes sales war), and for her super hurried explanation of everything - she was a walking disclaimer. I would not refer a friend there because they have zero value in you doing business with them - they just want that widget and feel no need to thank a customer. I could keep going, but the bottom line is you are a sale to them, and they don't care to hide that fact and play professional.
A few positives about the gym - the Zumba instructors are awesome (subcontracted- not on the staff), the pool looks nice and is being redone -set to open later this month, they have lots of equipment, and they offer over 90 classes.
