  • Phoenix came a LONG way while I lived there. Now that I've moved away, the wave continues, as Found:re demonstrates. This art-focused hotel is cool, trendy and friendly without being the least bit pretentious.I came in for an event at ASU and was thrilled not only that a room was ready when I arrived at about 8:00am, BUT they bumped me up to a suite which was AWESOME: large living area, comfy king bed, double walk-in shower, and an extended balcony with awe-inspring views of the city. The hotel has a very industrial feel with exposed concrete floors and industrial-style fixtures. This makes adds to the hip, cool feel of the hotel. The rooms have a very cool tablet concierge/helper through which you can get info about the hotel, the surrounding area, and also order food and bevvies. It's also right at Roosevelt Row, and across the street from the Light Rail Station, so you're in the middle of all that Downtown has to offer. I really can't say enough about this hotel. If you're staying downtown and want a cool, stylish pad to crash, Found:re is your spot.
